Gary The PERFORMER

Gary Fogarty has been a regular performer at major festivals and events all around Australia for over 20 years. His quick wit and ability to relate to his audiences, as well his reputation for writing some of the very best of modern Bush Poetry has seen demand for his performances grow year on year. While more than happy to deliver his energetic, unique and professional skills at major events, Gary is very much aware of, and proud of, his roots and loves nothing more than to visit and perform for smaller rural communities.

Gary is equally at ease performing a one man show or working with his fellow bush poets or singers as part of a team. Regarded by fellow poets as the ‘Mr Versatile’ of the industry he has the ability to tailor his performances to meet the requirements of the event organisers and believes strongly in putting the needs of the ‘show’ before his own.

 “Every single person who gives up their time and money to come and watch a show are far more important than I am, as a performer. They deserve to get the very best I have to offer on the day and I will never, ever, take any one of them for granted.”
